    The world premiere of Miranda’s Victim takes place at the Santa Barbara Film Festival. The festival takes place in California, and the film was shown on the opening night, yesterday, February 8th.Emily VanCamp attended the world premiere of “Miranda’s Victim” at the 38th Santa Barbara International Film Festival. VanCamp was enthusiastic about the film and praised the cast’s acting performances. She said, “I think it’s a really well-done movie. I’m really proud of it.”

    “Miranda’s Victim” is a gripping and heartbreaking story. VanCamp was an excellent choice for the role, and she shone in her performance.     “Miranda’s Victim” Premieres at the Santa Barbara Film Festival

    The film is based on the true story of Patricia Weir,  who was kidnapped and brutally raped in 1963. America’s legal system destroys Trish’s life as she triggers a law that transforms the nation, committed to putting her attacker, Ernesto Miranda, in prison. VanCamp commented on the experience, saying, “I’m so grateful to be a part of this film and to share it with the world. It’s such an important story, and I’m so excited to see people’s reactions.”
